韩千叶为什么要和阳顶天在碧水寒潭决斗，原因很简单，就是阳顶天武功太高，即使韩千叶再练上几十年依然不会是阳顶天的对手，只有利用阳顶天不识水性的弱点，再加上碧水寒潭恶劣的环境，才有可能战胜阳顶天，为父报仇。 由于韩千叶对这一点心知肚明，所以他一定会在和碧水寒潭自然条件相仿的环境里苦练水下功夫，在确定有必胜把握之后，才会找上光明顶，提出在碧水寒潭和阳顶天决斗的要求。 而紫衫龙王虽然自幼在海边长大，熟识水性，但却未必进入过像碧水寒潭这样恶劣的环境，也就是说，在水下决斗时，她根本打不过韩千叶。 但是韩千叶却在明显占据上风的情况下故意输给了紫衫龙王，给足了她面子，而紫衫龙王也深知这一点，所以才会向阳顶天求情，让他放韩千叶一条生路。 便在紧迫万分之际，波斯明教圣女黛绮丝忽然越众而前，冒充阳顶天之女，应对韩千叶的挑战，结果在碧水寒潭一战中，韩千叶不敌落败。韩千叶虽然败了，不知如何，竟然赢得了黛绮丝的芳心。想是她每日前去探伤，病榻之畔，因怜生爱，从歉种情，等到韩千叶伤愈，黛绮丝忽然禀明教主要嫁与此人。后来黛绮丝竟然破门出教，再也不算是明教教徒，与韩千叶远走灵蛇岛。因为黛绮丝是明教圣女，如果结婚就会被活活烧死，所以二人化名银叶先生（韩千叶自然银光素裹，所以韩千叶化名银叶）和金花婆婆（金花对银叶，单纯的对仗），并戴上老年人的人皮面具，以一对老夫妇的身份行走江湖。而亲生女儿小昭也不能养在身边，所以便留在了光明顶担任婢女，并让她伺机窃取乾坤大挪移心法。
