　　周芷若的师傅是灭绝师太。
　　周芷若，金庸武侠小说《倚天屠龙记》人物。峨嵋派弟子、峨嵋派第四代掌门人，出尘如仙，是金庸笔下一个极富传奇色彩的女性角色。周芷若幼时父亲周子旺（旧版）遭元兵杀害，遇张三丰相救，与少年张无忌在汉水舟中邂逅，并对张无忌有喂饭之恩，后被送至峨嵋派。
　　成年之后与张无忌重逢互生爱慕并立有婚约，为完师父灭绝师太遗命光复汉家河山，光大峨嵋取倚天剑、屠龙刀，试图杀害张无忌表妹殷离并嫁祸蒙古朝廷爱慕张无忌的赵敏。
　　成婚之际赵敏以谢逊毛发相胁使得婚礼生变，周芷若遂与张无忌决裂，回到峨嵋专心习武，一心完成师父遗愿光大峨嵋。
　　屠狮大会，张无忌念情相让，周芷若以九阴真经上的武功赢得武功天下第一的称号并与张无忌并肩攻打少林金刚伏魔圈。最终与张无忌立下约定飘然洒脱而去。初时的她秀若芝兰，温婉斯文，后期的她清逸如仙，冰雪出尘之姿中带有威严仪态，气震数千豪杰。
　　周芷若和张无忌、谢逊离开灵蛇岛回到了中原，岂料陈友谅一直暗中跟踪。倚天中的丐帮已经彻底沦为不入流的帮派，专干捡漏的勾当，而这次陈友谅是盯住了周芷若。半夜三更的时候，陈友谅还是用下三流的手段掳走了周芷若。尔后又以此将宋青书骗到丐帮分舵，为了拉拢宋青书，陈友谅亮出了周芷若这张底牌。宋青书看到久别重逢的周芷若，兽性大发，企图玷污周芷若。就在关键时刻，武当七侠莫声谷现身了。宋青书意识到事态的严重，奈何已经被情绪冲昏了头脑，就和陈友谅联手害死了莫声谷，从此陷入了魔道。
　　看过原著的读者，当然知道这个情节是编剧修改的。原著中的莫声谷确实被陈友谅和宋青书联手陷害，但却并非宋青书要玷污周芷若，而是宋青书偷看峨眉弟子的寝室被发现，方才起了杀心。虽然结局都是宋青书害了莫声谷，但是新版倚天屠龙记却加了一段周芷若被陈友谅下了十香软筋散，落入丐帮之手的戏份。那么原著中，到底有没有周芷若被丐帮或者陈友谅玷污的情节呢？这个情节如果要证实的话，恐怕要翻遍三个版本的倚天屠龙记。因为，这个情节在旧版中，金庸先生确实有写过，而且情节远胜新版倚天屠龙记的情节。
