儒林外史中陈和甫和陈和尚人物形象及性格特点

　　陈和尚在出家前是招亲在女方家的，同在一个屋檐下住，难免会有磕磕碰碰。不同于范进面对出口成脏的胡屠户时的唯唯诺诺，陈和尚在面对气不打一处来的老丈人时可是相当地理直气壮，翁婿二人的关系可用针尖对麦芒来形容。
　　陈和尚是陈和甫的独子。陈和甫是江西人，对卜易、谈星。看相、算命，内科、外科，内丹、外丹，以及请仙判事，扶乩笔录都略知道一二，相与的都是些达官贵人，还曾看好过鲁编修的中风之症，很有两把刷子。
　　相比其父，陈和尚的业务水平就差太远了，他只会在街头摆摊测字，每日寻得几十文钱，但他只买了猪头肉、飘汤烧饼，自己捣嗓子，不仅如此，他还赊了猪头肉的钱让他老丈人去还，看来他对猪头肉也算爱得深沉啊！
　　他老丈人不光要替他养老婆，还要替他还钱，久而久之，不内心崩溃了才怪呢！而崩溃的结果就是翁婿二人天天唇枪舌战，他的胡搅蛮缠和他老丈人的狠狠反击堪称精彩的辩论：
　　陈和甫的儿子道：老爹，假使这猪头肉是你老人家自己吃了，你也要还钱。（假设根本不成立，他老丈人没吃。）
　　丈人道：胡说！我若吃了，我自然还。这都是你吃的！
　　陈和甫儿子道：设或我这钱已经还过老爹，老爹用了，而今也要还人。（假设还是不成立，他没给过他老丈人钱。）
　　丈人道：放屁！你是该人的钱，怎是我用你的？
　　陈和甫儿子道，万一猪不生这个头，难道他也来问我要钱？（这假设更加站不住脚，猪怎么可能不长头呢？那照他这逻辑，他是不是应该先怪自己长了张爱吃猪头肉的嘴呢？假如他不长这张嘴，别人也不会来找他要钱了。）
　　丈人见他十分胡说，拾了个叉子棍赶着他打。（词穷棍子现，说不过就打）
　　邻居瞎子赶来劝架，他还理直气壮地说自己又不吃酒，又不赌钱，又不嫖老婆，每日在测字的桌子上还拿着一本诗念，没什么混账处。他老丈人就骂他不养老婆，他就回说要把老婆退还给他老丈人，他老丈人气得骂除非是你死了，或是做了和尚，这事才行得，结果第二天他真就剃度出家了。
　　自打做了和尚后，他无妻一身轻，有肉万事足，每日测字的钱就买肉吃，吃饱了就坐在文德桥头测字的桌子上念诗，十分自在。一人吃饱，全家不饿，能不自在吗？
