　　丁不三为什么没有三侠客岛
　　兄弟二人最后只有丁不四去了侠客岛，而丁不三却不见踪影，这是为什么呢？
　　人人闻之色变的侠客岛赏善罚恶令请人去喝腊八粥，一在除恶，二在勘破侠客岛上的神秘武功。所以请人也是有标准的，要么是一派的掌门，如少林妙谛、武当愚茶、长乐帮石破天，要么就是武功有独到之处者，比如梅文馨、西门观止等人。
　　如果仅仅是六合丁氏武功，丁不三是兄长，而且丁不三武功强于丁不四，要去应该是丁不三去才对。但是丁不四有一项丁不三不会的武功，就是金龙鞭法，而且使鞭者基本就剩他一人了，因为其他使鞭者都已被他杀死。长沙彭氏兄弟彭镇江、彭镇湖、四川章姓武官、安徽凤阳女子凡是使九节鞭者不是死就是伤。所以，丁不四的九节鞭基本就是天下独一无二了，关东风良也使九节鞭，幸好被石破天救了，否则只怕也使一死。

　　丁不四在侠客岛上知道了自己的私生女儿梅芳姑的下落，也就是石破天的妈妈，将石清闵柔夫妇的一个孩子劫去了的那个女人。而梅芳姑守宫砂仍然完好如初，所以石破天是谁？让人浮想联翩。
　　丁不三丁不四虽然凶狠毒辣，但也挺可爱，给小说增添了不少喜感。与南海鳄神岳老老三、桃谷六仙、不戒和尚有异曲同工之妙。
　　丁不三人物简介
　　丁不三早年杀人太多，后来改过自新，定下规矩，一日之中杀人不得超过三名。规矩定下后往往数日不杀，杀起来有时也只一二人。初次正式出场，是为了惩治石破天，孙女丁珰偷走他的宝物玄冰碧火酒给昏迷的石破天服下，丁不三试探石破天，发现他内力深厚，非同寻常，心中大喜，不但不追究，反而要把剩余的两宝：丁珰、自己的一身武功令石破天任选其一，石破天选择了丁珰，丁不三为二人举行婚礼。
　　当晚雪山派白万剑等人来到长乐帮，误将石破天当做石中玉掳去，丁不三以为石破天假装失手别有用意，并没有立即出手，只和丁珰在后面跟踪。丁不三在山神庙救出石破天，来到一处小船上，他见到石破天比闵柔比武剑法乱七八糟，心中大怒，要杀掉这个白痴女婿，丁珰不从。丁不三只好立下约定，令石破天十天内打败白万剑，不然就要杀了他，可当他吃了石破天做的美味饭菜后，又觉得后悔了。到了第十天，丁珰假装要杀石破天，却乘机他扔在对面的小船上。
　　丁不三与丁珰来到紫烟岛寻找石破天，碰见兄弟丁不四与白万剑动手，兄弟二人与雪山派众弟子交手，转要间雪山弟子已死伤数人。石破天不忍见白万剑被杀，挺身而出，用金乌刀法与白万剑合力打退丁不三二人。
　　后来在丁不四的请求下，与他同上凌霄城，丁不四故意要气情敌白自在，动手不敌被打成重伤，丁不三护送兄弟离去，这也是他最后一次出场。
