　　石中玉是个怎样的人？
　　石中玉、石中坚（或石破天、史亿刀、狗杂种）一对容貌酷似的兄弟，石破天贤而木讷，石中玉刚好相反。他才十八九岁已经坏透，除了胆小、不诚实和不负责任之外，还加上好色、嫖妓、逼奸侍婢、甚至侵犯年纪尚幼的小师妹。这样的品格，怎不令人憎厌？然而，他善于讨人欢喜，特别是善于讨女性欢喜，虽然手法老套，但是无往不利，叮叮当当喜欢油腔滑调的石中玉，她认为他懂得情趣；但这不足为奇，她自己就不怎样正派，但闵柔明知儿子行为卑劣，洞悉他的花言巧语，也是一样忍不住被他逗得十分欢喜。
　　不过，闵柔是他母亲，儿子再坏十倍，也会朝好的方面想。以为女子特别易为花言巧语所动而忽略了一个人的本质，其实是基于错觉，任何习惯了自我中心的人，都易受花言巧语所迷，莎士比亚笔下的李耳王便是一个著名例子。他年纪大了，不喜欢听消极的话，恭维浮夸之词，他听着十分受用，结果赔上了财产，失去了真正爱自己的人，更险些丢掉性命。大部分人以为自己懂得分辨忠好，所以大部分人以为自己会喜欢贤而木讷的石中坚，不会喜欢花言巧语的无行浪子石中玉，但是这也可能是错觉，恐怕多数人听到中听的话，也宁可信是真的。
　　像石中玉那样的人，一定有不少人喜欢和愿意纵容，不喜欢他的人，起码有部分是基于妒忌。一个人努力、尽责、忠诚而得不到欣赏、喜爱及酬报，看到另一个人做尽坏事反而占尽风光，自然恼恨这个人，其实，这也是错的，他们应该恼恨的，是那些报酬这种人的人。石中玉属于花花公子的类型，造就他的这个性格其父母有不可推卸的责任。天下的父母们爱子之心，可以理解，但是要懂得如何教育他们，否则会像石中玉这样花言巧语但本质恶劣，一旦戳穿华丽的面纱，他们就不会风光很久了。对于石中玉这样的人，唯一方法是敬而远之，别人怎样喜欢他，那也是别人的事。

　　石中玉的人物经历
　　石中玉的父母石清和闵柔，年轻时曾和梅花拳掌门人梅芳姑有一段三角恋情，梅芳姑由爱生恨，在石中玉满周岁不久跟石中坚还没满月时，趁石清外出，到玄素庄攻击闵柔母子，闵柔防备不力痛失石中坚，因此开始溺爱石中玉，导致石中玉逐渐养成顽劣狡猾的性格。后来石清夫妇将他送上雪山派习武，拜风火神龙之称的封万里为师，封万里管教不善，让石中玉企图强奸掌门人白自在的孙女白阿绣。石中玉为躲避门规重罚，当日便逃下山远离雪山派追杀。
　　石中玉偶遇长乐帮，因长乐帮上下无人出任帮主，接受赏善罚恶令赴侠客岛送死，于是拱他出任长乐帮帮主。石中玉不久也明白长乐帮的用意，于是逃离长乐帮总舵，后在扬州妓院被赏善罚恶二使擒获回长乐帮，调回正在假冒长乐帮帮主的石破天。
　　在石清夫妇将石中玉去雪山派领罪的途中，石中玉和情人丁珰密谋，骗取石破天的善良要他和自己对调。石中玉重获自由后，回长乐帮时被上门寻找石破天的谢烟客误以为是石破天，对他提出关于玄铁令的要求，石中玉命他歼灭雪山派。但是谢烟客在雪山派见到真正的石破天，得知自己被石中玉欺骗，原本打算将石中玉击毙。石破天不忍闵柔痛失爱子，决定要求谢烟客管教石中玉，同时告诉石中玉得好生伺候谢烟客的饮食起居，从此石中玉就在摩天崖和谢烟客一起生活。
