殷天正已经自立门户为何要回去帮助明教

　　殷天正这个人，在他成为明教四大法王之前，生平全无可考，他是明教五散人之上的众巨头中，两个没有早年革命履历介绍的人中的一个，另一个是韦一笑。白眉鹰王的岁数按我推算，应该与阳顶天差不多，但地位差了很多，他上面还有四个人：教主阳顶天，右使杨逍，左使范遥，以及紫衫龙王黛绮丝。
　　不争教主，自立天鹰教为一大度；率众顺服张无忌为二大度，要知道自己儿子殷野王可以继承教主的，这下好了，在明教只能是三流法王；自己研究与少林龙爪手相媲美的鹰爪擒拿手，其锋锐处可随意拗断铁棍等等等等。另外他最后的死，也是为了明教，为了帮助张无忌救谢逊，才死在少林三渡手上，可以说他这一生都为了明教而奔波着。
　　至于为何他要帮助明教，那是因为，第一他如此别人说他护教心切，第二如果他不去，无非在江湖中落了一个不忠不义的罪名，第三，如果不去明教那些人是不会善罢甘休的。第四他自己清楚明教倒了他的天鹰教也撑不了多久，所以在光明顶一战殷天正表现得很积极。
　　殷天正个人介绍
　　殷天正外号白眉鹰王，是明教护教法王之一，排名虽第二，年纪却为四大法王之中最大，武功修为也是四大法王中数一数二。
　　明教四大法王按紫白金青排列，所以殷天正在四大法王中位列第二，所以金毛狮王谢逊和青翼蝠王韦一笑叫他殷二哥，而紫衫龙王黛绮丝虽然位列四大法王之首，但因为年纪最小，也称其为殷二哥。
　　性格为人豪气干云，严己律己，刚正不阿，是个慷慨磊落的奇男子，性子偏激，为人行事一板一眼。
　　殷天正有一子殷野王和一女殷素素，其孙女为殷离，外孙是张无忌。
　　当年明教教主阳顶天失踪后（实际上是死在秘道之中，但明教中人不知道），明教陷入群龙无首的局面，光明左使杨逍、五散人、五行旗等明教高层为了争夺明教的控制权相互争斗，殷天正无法忍受这种混乱的状况，又不想搅进这一潭混水之中，于是愤而出教，自立教门天鹰教，与明教分庭抗礼，其豪气干云之势，令人思之神往。
　　当六大派合剿光明顶时，杨逍和明教四大护教法王之一青翼蝠王韦一笑以及五散人被混元霹雳手成昆以幻阴指偷袭倒下，殷天正本已是天鹰教主，可置身事外，却义无反顾地率天鹰教主力支援明教，在光明顶一战中，先挫少林和华山三名高手后，内力依然稍胜武当七侠之一张松溪比内力，战胜武当七侠之一莫声谷，只比招式和武当七侠之首宋远桥斗个旗鼓相当，重伤之余轻松击败崆峒五老老三唐文亮，而几乎内力耗尽，足显殷天正对明教的忠心可见一斑。
　　后来张无忌被推举为明教教主后，殷天正以外公之尊亲，元老之资历仍恪守明教教规，忠心耿耿地服从张无忌的领导，从不居功、居亲自傲。
　　蝴蝶谷大会之后，他执行张无忌联合武林各派共同起义，推翻元朝的路线，以七旬高龄率领天鹰教在江浙起事，声援各地义军。
　　在屠狮英雄会召开前夕，随同张无忌上少林寺自告奋勇同张无忌、杨逍挑战少林寺辈份最高的少林三大高僧渡难、渡厄与渡劫，当时，在战局不利的情况下为了兄弟情谊苦苦支撑，最后油尽灯枯，在出寺返回明教营地之后，起身大笑三声，溘然长逝。
　　群豪念及同教的义气，无不怆然泪下，讯息传出，明教中有许多教众原属天鹰教旗下，登时哭声震动山谷，数日间，群豪忙着料理殷天正的丧事，各门派、各帮会的武林人物也络绎上山，这些人仰慕殷天正的威名，都到木棚中他灵前奠祭。
