　　在张无忌被任命为明教教主之后，因为一系列偶然的因素，或者是偶然的事件，成昆的计划并没有按照自己所想那样去实现，而张无忌也一心想要找到杀害自己义父一家的浑元霹雳手成昆为义父报仇，了结义父的心愿，谢逊虽然想亲手将杀害自己一家人的成昆杀死，但是就论武功而言，谢逊远不如成昆。
