　　在山洞里饿死的。
　　当初，夏雪宜即金蛇郎君满怀仇恨的杀了温家30多口人，本来这就是冤冤相报的事情，后来被温家五老设计，然后下了迷药，这个时候夏雪宜已经是浑身无力了，最后终于抵不住仇人的蛮力，被挑断了手和脚的筋骨，残忍至极，然后被押着去寻宝，因为他当初在何红药那里偷走了藏宝图。可后来还是何红药救了他，毕竟还是对他有感情的，这个时候何红药还是希望夏雪宜能够娶她。
　　本来夏雪宜想请何红药把他送到穆人清那里，可是女方因为知道了夏雪宜挚爱温仪，一时吃了大醋，女人吃起醋来是非常可怕的，何红药就找了个山洞，把夏雪宜给藏了起来，本来是想晾他几天，让他吃点苦，可何红药再去找的时候人已经不见了。
　　本来何红药以为夏雪宜自己跑了，就放弃了寻找，可其实夏雪宜是自己找了一个山洞，他不愿意负了任何人，也不愿意求人，想的是自己在山洞里挨饿，就算这样死了也是没有什么可以眷恋的了。
　　在夏雪宜很小的时候，因为温家兄弟其中之一的温方禄想强奸他的姐姐，但是没有成功，一怒之下，温方禄把他的姐姐还有包括父母在内的一家五口全部杀光，当时的夏雪宜，是唯一的一个活下来的人，经历了这样残忍的事情，对于任何一个孩子来说都是心灵上的巨大创伤，更何况是对敢爱敢恨的夏雪宜来说呢，所以，复仇成了他自小的目标。
　　后来，金蛇郎君夏雪宜不知道从哪里学来了一身的武功，然后他仍觉自身实力不能与仇人抗衡，于是就去了云南，求五毒教的用毒之法，想通过用毒的方法来实现复仇的目的，但是他却不小心被毒蛇咬伤，遇上何红药才得以解毒，也从她这里盗走了金蛇剑和金蛇锥，从此开始凭借这些行走江湖，所以夏雪宜有了一个外号：金蛇郎君。
　　后来，夏雪宜终于实现了报仇的目的，杀了温家30多口人，并且把温家的女儿温仪给拐走了，可是温仪是那么的招人喜欢，使得夏雪宜也对她生了感情，两人后来在一起了，还生下了女儿夏青青。
　　夏雪宜的结局介绍
　　被温家五老挑断手脚筋脉均，后来又被何红药打断双足，金蛇郎君夏雪宜最后服毒药身亡了。当时温家五老把夏雪宜逼上了华山，可奈何何红药又苦苦相逼其说出温仪的住处。为保爱人不受伤害，夏雪宜饱经摧残，巧妙与何红药周旋。
　　最终得以逃出生天，在洞中结合自身江湖阅历与武术经验，创出《金蛇秘笈》（后于袁承志所得）。临终时，夏雪宜口含当年与温仪的定情信物金钗，并自服毒药，以至于后来何红药焚其尸骨时中毒身亡。
　　金蛇郎君夏雪宜，金庸小说《碧血剑》的隐形主角，名号：金蛇郎君，书中并没有正式出现，却是书中一极重要之人物，故事中很多情节都始自於他（女主角温青青、仙都派、五毒教）。
